Several years ago Dave bought a big heavy duty ladder at a garage sale.
It was really too big to put in our garage so it has been sitting on the side of our garage under the roof eves.
I guess the Mourning Doves thought this was the perfect Home Sweet Home for the happy couple.
They have set up residence there at least 4 times a year. Its high up and protected from the elements too.
Dave took this photo about 2 weeks ago.
Now we see another beak showing every now and then. I will try to take another picture to show the happy family.
Dave says if this continues, "I'll never get to use my ladder!!" Its going to be Birthing Central from now on...😀

that is sooo sweet, I just love doves. He doesn't need to be climbing on ladders so Birthing Central sounds good to me.

Tell Dave he's the man!! Who needs a ladder when you can supply a home to a family!! I wish the doves would come back to our window seal. So far they only used it once.
They have found a "safe haven".
