As some of you know, I have been stressing about renewing my drivers license.
So Oct. 20th I went on line to renew. All went well and I paid my fee. It also said to make an appointment to take a knowledge test and have my picture taken plus finger print.
I made the appointment which is suppose to be tomorrow.
2 days later I get a notice that I can print my temporary license. I did that.
Yesterday I got my official license IN THE MAIL with my old photo (5 years ago) on it. It said it expires in 5 years.
So no test, no photo, no fingerprints again.. I was shocked. Good ole California still does things so backwards that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
Not going to make an appearance tomorrow at the DMV...yay!!!
I guess sometimes it pays to be a "Senior".

Good news to start a new month and here in NH, we also only renew every 5 years so I hope my next DMV visit will go as smoothly as your own.
We have been on the road a lot and able to check in often. Glad to catch up a bit.
