The temperatures have been raging for the past few weeks
and now we have terrible wildfires again.
This fire is called the Mosquito Fire (named after the area long, long ago)
It's about 45 miles east of us in the foothills.
There have been evacuations but I really don't know the latest at this time.
I went out this morning to our front yard at 8:45AM.
Murky and that ugly reddish, orangey dirty air color was all I could see.
The sun was an orange ball and I could taste the air.
We have 2 friends that are first responders and firefighters.
Praying for all involved.
Now an hour later it's lightened up a bit but it's not a day to be outside.
By 5PM it is suppose to be 108F AGAIN...
For me it will be another "care-giving" day, for my Alzheimer friend, of staying inside.
Very difficult to say the least.
Prayers appreciated.

Oh no...I did not know about this new fire.
Wow so hot and with fires. So sorry to hear this. I hope it all cools down soon.
I have seen the fire on TV and know about your extreme HEAT. Prayers for the safety of you and your home and for your fire fighter friends.
May this all end with no more loss. So tragic.
