A few years ago I took photos of our Pear Bounty.
And here we are this year...July 2022
The drought meant no water ...which meant no pollen ... which meant no bees doing their Job...
This is our bounty for this year...
So sad...
Another view shows the pitiful growth..
These guys are only a couple of inches in length...
I do hope they will ripen a bit so we can taste them.

We live in the Ozarks and my two pear trees are the same. The pears are small and only a few to each tree. Thehubs has been watering from our own well for 8 hours a day, everyday for the past 2 weeks. He is just trying to save our trees, bushes and landscaping. If we can keep them alive I hope to have a better year next year. The poor wild geese and birds all gather around his sprinkler bathing and drinking the cold water. I am so glad you are feeling better! ~jackie collins~
drought killed our pink grapefruit tree and now 2 years in a row no avocados for bob to eat. there have been about 20 but they don't grow to the right size. we lost 3 huge hibiscus trees, and the one they just took down for the tune of 1600.00. So sorry your bounty is shrunken. this is frightening because of the world food supply
Awww, sad. Well, how resiliant is the tree? Will it come back next year?
Nature is in a sad state. I fear the pears are an example!
