A few nights ago we had these massive artichokes for dinner.
They measured 5 inches across...
So tender and sweet...cheap too... $1.48 each
Dave and I both love to dip them into melted butter..yummm
I do like mayo too but butter is better... (:0)
Which do you prefer ? Mayo or butter...
Or do you even like these leafy wonders?

We love artichokes! But I usually stuff them with breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and garlic! As for butter vs margarine - definitely butter!
wow I haven't had an artichoke in years. in the 70's actually I worked with a woman who would always cook up artichokes, make sauce and share them in the office.
the only one i have tasted was chopped in a salad someone brought to a dinner. I can't eat the green leafy or butter or margine with my IBS so not something I can try. Brussels and Radish and Cabbage are on my trigger list. if i were trying one it would be butter all the way.
I have eater but never cooked them. I don’t see them in the store here.

Never had 'em. But, I know I'd choose butter. DRIPPING in butter!!!!!
We tried one once many years ago and did not care for it...but I would not mind trying another.
I use to like mayo, but butter is my go to now.
