Whew...lots of heavy duty work this weekend.
We finally attacked our weed jungle in our backyard.
What a job!
And as the song goes..." We have only just begun"
Lots of work and manual labor.
We are so grateful for the lawnmower our son gave us. It's still a lot of walking and hard work but I am thrilled that Dave is able to do it.
It's really hard to see the weeds on the side of the lawn but..oh my, they were and are so high
and many are prickly.
I pulled for 2 hours straight and got most of those ugly things gone.
there are so many more of those buggers to pull but that will be another day.
My backside muscles tell me wait a day or two .. ouch!!

Well done! That’s hard work.
Its not my butt that hurts, it my back. from bending and digging and pulling and planting and I only did it for 3 days and only for 30 mintues at a time.. you done GREAT!!!! we do what w have to do and survive... now we can sing I will survive with your Only just Begun
As much as it is fun to work outside, there is always the temptation to overdo it. That at least is my problem. Your grass looks so nice and green.
It is my hips that get me...lol. but your yard looks so nice.
wow good for you....that's a lot of work and it looks great ...so neat and clean. I do work up here ..tons of pine needles, etc...and it only lasts awhile before the squirrels get up in the cedar trees and chew off branches which then drops to the yard. it's always a mess.
