THROWBACK THURSDAY NOSTALGIA

Sandra of MadSnapper had a  post today

that got me thinking about our home and the memories.

This was our former house in 2007, going through renovations so we could sell it.

Our daughter in law's brother was so great at doing the really hard work.

This kitchen was so 60's.  He helped bring it up to date.

New granite tops, stove and lots of other things too.

Thanks Sandra for bringing back memories for this Throwback Thursday.

Prepping for the new granite top and kitchen sink to be put in.

Dave and Mort cutting the granite slab .
The granite dust was so thick in the room...

Cough, cough... these guys were amazing doing this heavy and delicate job themselves.

The finished product... new paint job, new hood, new stove top, new sink and new

granite counter tops.  We often said man..we fixed all this stuff to sell and never got to really enjoy the fruits of the labor.
Our relator did a great job of staging the entire house.

Boy, I haven't looked at these photos for years...thanks Sandra for reminding me.

this is what our house needs now. yours is beautiful and she did a fantastic job decorating it for you.. best way to get top dollar is put money and do it yourself is the best way

The updated kitchen looks great. I had many questions last year when my house interior underwent a makeover . People thought I was getting ready to move, but I insisted that now I want to enjoy my 'new' house.
