Thank you my dear blogging friends.
Thank you for your tender and thoughtful comments on my previous blog post.
Nothing has changed, but things are better. Does that make sense?
When my Hubby shares his heart with me ... his frustrations, cares and concerns...
I was right there with him. This vulnerability doesn't happen too often....
We love our friends, still get together with our bible study group, do our volunteer work
at Celebrate Recovery, Care-giving, selling on eBay together, loving on our family
and doing many behind the scenes things which give us a lot of fulfillment.
I'm truly not trying to toot my own horn....
We just miss the FUN as we used to have and some of the things we used to do.
I am so thankful I have this wonderful partner in crime for the last 58+ years.
Aging just gets to us sometimes.
It's the 1 year anniversary of Dave's horrible multiple leg fracture and more than 2 years of Covid.
So...
Here's to moving on and Leaving it in the Good Lord's hands.

That time since Dave’s accident has flown though I bet it didn’t feel like that for you both sometimes. Hope you have a great weekend!
I think we all "suffer" with those find memories/friendships and loss. Melancholy and "if we could turn back time". I get that way when Bud and I look at photos from our past....before and after marriage. We both often say "those were the best of times". But, think about it we are all creating those "best" times TODAY!!
💕 LOVING the photo Sue
find memories should be FOND
What a blessing that you still are able to do so many things together. Also a great blessing that Dave has recovered from that accident.
I know what you mean, and you have had it maybe a bit worse than some. Fun and recreation sure went out the window with covid.
Glad things are looking better today. Sounds like you do have a lot of great things in your life to enjoy. Fiftyeight years - i am at 51 this may - I'm thinking I might keep him a little longer because he's a good cook:)
It is goid thst you are still able to live a fulfilling life now.
I am going to have to.look back and see if you have written about the multiple break.

Wow, has it really been a year already since the accident?
That's a beautiful photo of the two of you.
