My week had been so messed up and difficult.
I ended up not having any time to go on a photo shoot for my Club Challenge.
Thank Goodness for the archives...
The challenge for last week was Doors...
Here are what I had to work with and what I decided to submit,
and the reason I made that decision.
Technically a doorway, but let your imagination fill in the blanks.
This is a door from Sutter's Fort.. it isn't perfectly straight and even...
because the building isn't perfectly straight and even !
I love the grungy look and the sunlight creeping into the room.
Here is my final choice.
The reason I choose this one is I was sure it would be completely different from
anyone else's.
It is the door to one of the tents used on my first mission trip to Mexicali, Mexico.
These old "MASH" tents were heavy and did the job.
Everyone liked it and my reasons for choosing it.
I guess I could call this THROWBACK TUESDAY too...
Today is 02/22/22

Good selection of doors - that first one ...yes i can imagine things and that tent - all of them are nice but I think I'd love a few days in that tent - . And to walk through that door up top.
Love the M*A*S*H door...so unique!!
I love the third door best because YOU have history with it! What anamazing life you have had and continue to live.
Sorry about your messed up week and I hope and pray it ends better than it started!
Excellent selections!
what amazing doors! Each one is such a unique door and adds to the imagination of the many types of doors.
Love those doors, especially the tent.
A wonderful and unique choice!
yesterday was my sons 55th birthday, i sent him a text that said welcome to 55 on 2/22/2222. I love the tent door and it is te winner although I like the others also. love the middle door because it is grubby and old. Son David made it home last night. thanks for the prayers
I really like them all....the first two should be used with 'I stand at the door and knock....'
Good choices. Just trying to go through my pictures in my mind, I don't think I have many door pictures.
I meant to comment that your choice of the tent door was for sure different, and I would probably have chosen that. IF I had thought of it...but doubt it would have crossed my mind.
A good variety of doors.
