THE DAY AFTER THE MONSOON

Yesterday began with a startling blue sky and dollops of clouds.

It didn't last long but at least we didn't have any rain.

I'm so glad to have a break in the weather and the chance to dry out and rake up

all the mess that was around the yard.

I have to admit that Dave and I were pooped from all the hard work.

There is a definite feeling of satisfaction to finishing the job.

Today....

Overcast and only in the low 50'sF.

Wonder what tomorrow will bring?

beautiful skies -
We got a couple inches of rain and I think Big Bear actually got some snow at the higher altitudes. I hope our winter will be nice and calm this year. We got more snow at 5000 ft altitude than Big Bear did at 7000 last year. OUr lake filled up so good and Big Bear's lake is down really really low. I pray they get the snow this year.

As long as there is no disasters/flooding. Beautiful sky. A promise of good to come.

That blue sky must be very welcome after so much rain.

We expected a lot of rain but we didn't get much. Sorry you had so much to clean up.

That is the thing about working in/out of your home. The satisfaction of a cleaned up space is great.
