I WILL BE MISSING THIS LOVELY WOMAN

This post is mostly for me.

I want to have the tribute in my yearly printed photo journal.

One of my best friends passed away several days ago.

She fought hard in her cancer battle.

Birdie (Roberta) was a friend to all and had such a generous heart.

She was the hardest worker too, I know from being on a mission trip with her to Haiti.

Birdie and her husband Gordie were a couple that we would go out to "coffee" after church on Sunday nights.  We would laugh, cry and gab until they practically closed the restaurant on us.

Birdie you will be sorely missed by so many and especially by me.

This is how I will always remember Birdie..

That genuine smile on her face.

She sure didn't look or act like she was 87!

She is seated with her oldest son Ken.

Oh Sue, Don mentioned he had seen your post on facebook. Since I rarely go to fb, I knew you would post on your blog. What a sweetheart. You can just tell by that precious faith she was a dear friend, and servant of the Lord. So glad you have many wonderful memories of her being together on that Mission trip.
What a loss...but what a gain to heavens population! So glad you can introduce me to her when we all get to heaven.
Hugs

I am so sorry. This is one of the hardest things about getting older, watching our friends and family pass away.

I'm so sorry Susan. Losing a good friend is so hard -- I see Ginny's comment above and that is so true.
