GOOD NEIGHBORS .... AGAIN

This evening ...Wednesday...  I got a text from my neighbor Shirley.

She wanted to know if I was home so she could bring something over.

A few minutes later this lovely woman was at our door with a wonderful surprise...

Hot dinner !!

She said she just wanted to share her family's supper with us.

We feel so blessed to live in this special little corner of the world.

Two beautiful ramekins full of piping hot yumminess.

Homemade sauce and ziti noodles...

A meal fit for royalty.

Aren't the dishes gorgeous?

They are from the Pioneer Woman collection.

I truly had "Dish Envy".

Feeling so Blessed.

Further update on Hubby Dave..

We went to the PT today and she was so pleased with his progress.

Dave is now able to put slight weight on his leg that was fractured.  That means he can actually stand and take small steps with both feet while using the walker.

Thrilled...

Next week 50% weight bearing...the week after that 75% and the week after that 100% !!

Its a process to get the muscles strong enough to be able to walk without the "crutches" or walker.

Dave is one happy camper

and

So am I...

The food looks very tempting, such a generous gift from your neighbours, and I really like the serving dishes, such a nice design and lovely colours. Dave will soon be up and about, he is making good progress. I bet he'll be dancing an Irish jig soon.
