I always thought sunflowers were fall flowers.
This pretty blossom has appeared in my friends garden..all by itself.
I think it's a volunteer, perhaps "planted" by a passing bird.
Anyway...
It's pretty and makes me feel happy.

It bloomed at just the right time and just the right place for you to find it when you need a bright yellow flower to cheer you up and your friend needs one also. I too believe it is a sunflower
