FRIDAY AND WHAT TO POST??

Well another week has slide around and here we are again at Friday.

Dave update...

The Surgeon was satisfied with how his Xrays look and the healing is on its way.

His bombshell was that he didn't see Dave walking until July-ish....

Not what my poor Hubby wanted to hear.

This surgeon has absolutely no bedside manner and I'm glad we don't have to see him again for another 5 weeks.

There is plenty to whine about but I'm trying to take the High Road and be Dave's biggest cheerleader.

So dear friends..

One Day at a Time.

On another subject this photo is of my friends Tulip Tree blossom "posterized".

I kind of like the abstract quality of it.

AT FIRST glance I thought it was angel hands holding the pod... lets hope the doctor with no bedside manner is wrong about JULY and it will be sooner. i am betting like living with a wounded bear..😁

I hate those doctors thinking their 'god' and their words are to be heeded. Makes you wanna spit.

The bedside manner lacking in some physicians is infuriating. As long as he knows his stuff however.

Take care, Sue. Dave too.

I am so very sorry about this news! But doctors have to tell us the worst case scenarios, and many walk far sooner!! I KNOW that he will! Also, bedside manner is good, but has nothing to do with how good a doctor is. In fact, when I workd in hospitals, surgeons were the worst for their personalities. But it seemed that the more brilliant they were, the worse they acted! So maybe you have the best! Wow, this shot is amazing, it sure looks edited to be surrealistic!

That is not what you folks wanted to hear. I can imagine that Dave is getting antsy and wants to walk, but better to let things heal completely .

If the doc says no walking till July, then Dave should obey his instructions. Doc may change his mind if Dave heals faster than expected. So keep smiling and stay safe!
BTW we're in yet another "stay at home" lockdown for 28 days started on Thursday, the infection rates are too high. Hospitals are getting crowded and have been asked to postpone all elective surgeries starting next Monday.

Sorry about the surgeon not being very nice. Also sorry to hear about the date he suggested on Dave walking. Praying things move more quickly than that. Yes, one day at a time. ((Hugs))

I feel for Dave (and you). After almost four months my son was given the go ahead to put weight on the leg and begin his therapy ...a few weeks ago it started and he works at it every day. Still having to use the walker because of the weakness etc. Hope Dave recovers quickly and the doc is standing their amazed at his speedy recovery.

beautiful blossom.
