FOG BOUND

Today marks the third day of heavy ground fog.

It's dampish and at 10:30 AM the temperature was only 40F.

"They" say there will be snow in the mountains.

I'm calling these 2 photos  FOG BOUND.

This is a day of sticking close to home.

Actually, the fog had lifted a bit by the time I went out in the front yard.

Naked trees are still pretty in their own way.

Now to get started on some Christmas cooking.

I was going to show a picture of my lemon pound cake but it really wasn't very good.

Pound Cake is the perfect name for it.  Too heavy but the Myer lemons were tasty.

I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!

We actually have had fairly clear skies and will through Christmas with a promise or threat ...of snow around the 28th.

We do have wind and if it dies down I'm hoping for a good walk today.

almost Christmas Eve - wow.

Nice photos, naked trees definitely have their own beauty. I hope the fog clears for Christmas Day. We are forecast to have the coldest day of the year here in Florida. We would normally be excited about a cold Christmas for a change, but we will be celebrating outdoors. Not ideal but we'll make the best of it!

I find fog spooky and atmospheric. It somehow makes things so sitll and quiet.

Beautiful images today Sue!! Just think, when the fog lifts, you will be greeted with blue sky & white capped mountains for Christmas, how beautiful that will be.
