ANOTHER WEEK DIFFERENT THAN PLANNED

After we had our wonderful small group potluck...things changed.

By the next morning my dear Hubby was in extreme pain.

Into the ER again, for what turned out to be a gall bladder attack.

Long story short...He had surgery Thursday at 9PM !!!

All that time from Wed. morning till then being pumped full of meds and pain stuff.

They found he had an infection around the gall bladder which added to his misery.

Surgery successful but the meds made him agitated  ....finally home yesterday afternoon...

Now the healing process begins.

I'm pooped so I may not be posting much for a while.

Love this guy and want him back 100%.

Tomorrow is a New Day...

Wishing him all the very best. I know that with you as his caregiver, he is in good hands.

Oh my! Did they remove his gallbladder? Hopefully it will be quick healing time, and he will feel better with it gone.

Oh my goodness - I am glad they found out what it was and fixed it!

My mother’s gallbladder ruptured before they discovered what was wrong. Terrible!

Hope you husband has a speedy recovery.

Thank heavens for emergency department doctors! I'm so happy that the surgery went well, and Dave is recovering. Your job is to make sure he takes it easy and doesn't try to do too much as soon as he feels a bit better. So easy to overdo it as soon as the energy starts coming back. You're the boos now, and make sure he knows it!!!!!!!!

I meant the boss, not the boos!!!!

I hope he heals quickly and feels lots better after it all. I had mine out, and felt great after I healed. I had been in a lot of pain for quite some time and didn't really know what it was.

I had to look to find what happened...I do hope the recovery proceeds faster than it has thus far....but seems like as we age, we recover from things slower.
