ANOTHER VERY BUSY WEEK
It seems it is either feast or famine....
Either we have nothing much to do but the mundane everyday chores.
Or,
We are running in many different directions...some good and some not so good.
Hubby and I began the week having to visit the ER.
Dave experienced chest pain on his right side which radiated to his back'
Being the "considerate" husband (he truly is most of the time),
he didn't tell me and had gone in the living room during the night.
Pain subsided and we, on the advice doctor's decision, spent hours in the ER.
EKG, Xray and blood work showed no heart attack and nothing new beyond his ongoing
health issues.
Grateful for that but not the way I want to spend my day.
We were scheduled to prep and serve at Celebrate Recovery dinner.
Since Dave was feeling well enough we went ahead with that.
We're always tired after the 6 hour shift but always glad to serve.
We finished off the week with a fun potluck dinner at a friends home.
Our Mexico Kitchen Team finally was able to get together and eat yummy food and laugh.
Some of us hadn't seen each other for months.
It was a wonderful way to finish off a sort of stressful week.
And so time marches on...
We will see what the next week brings...(:0)

Glad to hear that Dave's health scare was not too serious. Hope the next week goes well for you.
What a blessing he is O.K.!!! Did they have any idea what happened? What is this glorious tree behind him? It is positively shimmering!
It's always better to be safe than sorry when ut comes to the heart. We have been twice with Louis Dean when it was a 'false alarm' and twice when it saved his life. You never know!
Your party picture looked like fun! Glad to 'meet' your husband!!
Wishing you and yours a week of all good things!
Glad to hear that Dave is okay. Times like that are always scary. Life here is much the same. It seems like it is all or nothing :)
Those emergency room trips are definitely not in the pleasure category. Glad Dave got a good report. And bravo to you both for serving as planned in spite of the earlier stress and time involved in the ER procedures. And surviving those hospital gowns is a challenge, too.
So glad everything was fine! Enjoy every minute. It sounds like you do just that.
Hi Sue ~ So glad to hear that ER didn't show a heart attack. Always good to check it out though. I will be so glad when we can travel again. I truly miss you and Dave and can't wait to be able to visit again,
sorry to hear about the ER visit, I missed this. I am no longer doing FB, just wanted you to know anything you post on there I will most proably not see it. you can message me or email. I do both of those and blogging. glad it was nothing but a day wasted. best to check it though. that pool looks great, did you get in it?
I am glad and thankful Gary is okay. So that pool seems mighty nice and cool!
