I just love her in this one, especially that glamorous hair style.
It is her High School graduation photo, circa 1927.

She is stunning. And that hair, oh my, just beautiful.
You mom was beautiful. I did not know they had grad pics way back then. Mother graduated in 1943 but I don't remember ever seeing a photo of it. I learned on electric stoves from mother and for a few months in 1970 I had a gas, it scared me silly, I was afraid of it and I burned every thing I cooked, from cookies to eggs.... you are right about what we are used to
