FINAL DAY IN KOLKATA, INDIA

My son, granddaughter and his business partner are now on the long trek home from Kolkata, India.

Here are a few photos of the final day with these wonderful kids.

The day always begins with scalding hot chai in a cup without a handle.

Steve and Amanda are having an award medal pinning ceremony for each student.

They were able to talk about their best photograph .

The kids learned so much.

The kids seem to be enjoying the fruit of their efforts.

Such amazing backdrops for photographs.

Color everywhere.

I really think I would have worn out my camera.

My sweet granddaughter will be sorely missed by these girls.

Such a positive influence.

The experience of a lifetime! I really like the colorful buildings. BUT, how on earth do you hold those hot cups?

I would have snapped myself silly and needed a dozen batteries and a dozen SD cards.. I have enjoyed every single photo they posted on Facebook. I think this door pic might be my favorite. prayers for a safe trip home
