A MEMORY FROM 57 YEARS AGO TODAY

How to feel old....

This photo came up on my FaceBook memories today.

It was 57 years ago today that I had a part in history.

I marched with my band at President Kennedy's Inauguration Parade.

It was such a privilege for our high school band to play and march

down Pennsylvania Ave right in front of President Kennedy.

I am forever grateful for the chance to do that.

Wow!! What an amazing thing to have done. Did you get to see him? Isn't it something that everyone can remember what they were doing when he was shot?

no need to fret over the past, I hated school from 9th grade on and they were the most unhappy years of my life, but that was 58 years ago. thanks for caring . the happiest years of my life started in 1984, lots of fond memories from then to now.
