We finally took a short trip to Apple Hill.
It was for our Apple Cider Donut fix and
of course just welcoming in the Fall season.
There is nothing like these donuts fresh and hot...made right before our eyes.

I really love when we can just have fun together.
My friend Beverly is missing from this picture this year.
Hopefully she can come and visit sometime in the near future.

They look delicious! Yes, apple days are sure here. We have the same kind of homemade donuts, but they are peach ones at the peach orchard. The season is over by now though.
I have a box of apples sitting in my kitchen that I need to do something with. I was thinking an apple pie soon.
I see donots and my mind starts calculating calories and carbs. I have counted them for 20 months now and don't miss them now.
I see lots of sugar on those yummy apple cider donuts. My mother always thought "donuts" was a very weird way to spell DOUGHNUTS!
