We spotted this fancy fungus enveloping a big tree root in our backyard.
It's almost the weekend.

Such an interesting find! Pretty in its own way.
Oh my goodness, how we used to say that as kids when we didn't like someone who was around...how mean ~ but it sure brought back a bunch of kid memories.
Actually, they are quite beautiful with their colors and ruffles... Nice shot.
This fungus is sometimes called "Turkey Tail". I think you can see why.
and the fungus among us is gorgeous. i do love to find things like this. nature is so amazing
