I can't believe we are at the letter " U " already.
I think the letter " U " is UNUSUALLY difficult to define.
The words I have chosen are
UP and UGLY.
Not so great and kind of UGLY photo of the Swifts flying by our hotel window.
We were UP on the 17th floor.
This is their destination.
These are the UGLY and messy nests in the corners of the windows.
The birds flitted by so fast that my Hubby was UNABLE to catch a really clear photo through our tinted hotel window.
Even the mighty and UPSTANDING sometimes fall.
UGLY !!!
What more can I say?
Poor pumpkin!

That looks like the type of pumpkin called Curcurbita. They are meant to look that way. Can't say I have ever seen a swift. Are they like swallows?
that is an ugly pumpkin... I love the pic of he fallen tree.. not that it fell, just the capture of its roots... creative USE of UGLY...

Must have been nice to see the birds flitting in and out of the nest although you are right they do make a mess.
Lots of U's.....but that is really an ugly pumpkin. Only a mother pumpkin could love that face. HaHa
