JUICY
Hubby just picked the first of our plums from our tree.
I'm looking forward to making some coffee cake from the next batch.
This bunch is just for savoring every drippy mouthful.
Those look like a perfect combination of sweet and tart, I love that variety but only get them from the grocery store, I imagine they are even tastier fresh from your own tree. The things God blesses us with to enjoy!
i am a plum addict, when i start to eat them i can't stop.. plums and mangos are my favorite fruit. i have never had plums cooked in anything, we never had a tree.. and they are way to expensive to buy and cook... yum
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

Are they Victoria plums? Victorias have yellow flesh and a purply red skin. Stewed plums and custard.... a match made in heaven!
How wonderful that you can write this, harvesting your own fruit!
Oh how I remember the box you gave us when we visited. I made several jars of plum jelly...but that was long ago..and there is none left.
Bet that coffee cake will be wonderful.
A bit behind on my blog reading Sue.
I bet those plums tasted good!
