ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " L "
After several weeks away, I'm back in the groove of ABC
Wednesday.
Today's LETTER is " L ".
I spent the time away with this Very LARGE group of adults and
teens.
Absolutely no LAZY workers among the 1000 people you see here.
Don't forget to ENLARGE the photos to see the detail.
Just click on the photo.
Here is our Kitchen Team.
We are LOCATED in our kitchen food prep area.
It was truly amazing to see what we produced out of this place.
Our Basecamp is on a farmer's LAND, right in his alfalfa field.
When we arrived in Mexico the first thing on the agenda was to
buy much needed supplies from the LOCAL Mexican CostCo.
What you see is all ours awaiting checkout.
We had to gather LOTS and LOTS of everything!
One night we prepared a special dinner for our own kids and
LOCAL church pastors, plus our own Bayside Church Pastors
that visited for a few days.
Over 800 LBS of Tri Tip roast were grilled and sliced by our team.
LOTS and LOTS of slicing!!!
Hundreds and hundreds of heads of LETTUCE and cabbage
had to be washed and chopped every day for dinner.
LOTS and LOTS of chopping!
We always tried to buy LOCALLY to help put money into the
LOCAL economy.
Several LADIES from a nearby church made Handmade tortillas
for us.
They were the best tasting I have ever had.
Even though the LANGUAGE was a slight barrier,
Tortillas made with LOVING hands were enjoyed with smiles and
Yummmms all around.

I'm overwhelmed with the magnitude of the food, and what you accomplished in Mexico. I've never been part of something this big, and I know you and your hubby have many times. My hat and heart is thanking you for your Servant Hearts. Only heaven will tell the people changed by this event.

What a wonderful gift of love and yourselves you have given! Kudos to you and your team of 1000, who have made such a difference in the lives of others!
I copied the URL and pasted it in. So I have just made it to where everyone is registering and getting wrist bands then congregating outside. My photo journey with you is going to take a while in small bits at a time, but I am hooked and want to see every single image posted there.
The image of everybody praying together in those early photos is pretty powerful. Thanks so much for clueing me in to that site! And evidently your son shares your powess with the camera, too.
