I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West. Come and enjoy with me.

These are great photos with the side sun light! They are even better enlarged!
this photo reminds me of a time Diane and I went to Bray Park to take photos and hike, we got to a hump of grass twice as high as our head and 3 times the size of a pickup truck. it was covered with tall grasses. and there must have been 500 of these redwinged creatures, the hump was covered and when we started to climb up it they lifted in a flock like i have never seen before or since. nature is totally amazing, one at a time or dozens.
A robin built her nest on our downtown loft this spring. I guess nature even finds us in urban dwellings. :)
I think your camera rose to the occasion admirably. That dragonfly looked like a tiny helicopter in the in-flight pix.
I like the one where he's flying. The red ones are so pretty but I rarely see those in my neck of the woods.
Oh my goodness, the in flight pics are good, I can even see the four wings!!!
That looks like a huge dragonfly Sue. Is it reall so big? - Dave
Wow - how cool to capture that flying!! Happy weekend!
