ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " W "

WE are almost at the end of the alphabet.
This WEEK'S letter is " W ".
WHEN
looking at my WHIMSICAL choices
you will see that they WIND WILLY NILLY
from one subject to another.
These black and WHITE pouting lip ceramic pots
are my WAY-out choices for the letter " W ".

This shot Was taken from the inside of a WESTERN covered WAGON.
The WAGON WASN'T
very WIDE and the seat WAS made from a WOODEN plank.
It must have been a WILD ride back in gold rush times.

I love this functioning WINDMILL . The shot was taken in the barren WILDERNESS of the Kenya Bush.

A WINDMILL, just for show, found its WAY onto my camera lens.
The sky WAS the color of WISTERIA blossoms.
I WISH there WERE more sunsets WITH the soft colors available for me to photograph.
WON'T you WANDER over to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar to see WHAT other WONDERFUL bloggers have posted for the letter W ?

Those are some most unusual ceramic pots. I have never seen anything like it. What will they think of next?

Very creative word use this week! I'm oddly drawn to the ceramic pots. The way you shot the windmills is interesting too.

Whimsical -- what a good word for 'w'. Those pots are a little WEIRD, actually almost ghostly. Thanks for coming to visit. You are always so encouraging.

The pouting pots can return for Letter P! They;ll be welcome second time around because they're so funny.

Great shots and I particularly liked seeing inside that covered wagon. With just a plank to sit on for thousands of miles it makes me realise how very spoiled we are today when we travel!

Love the windmills but those face pots I think I'd pass on. Wouldn't want to walk past them at night giving you weird looks. Creepy.

Happy ABC Wed.

Love the windmill very much. Being a great fan of Don Quichote it was indeed of great joy getting to see it up close - how peaceful. Please have a great Thursday.

The colors captured in your last windmill shot are beautiful. Reminds me of the sunsets we have over the ocean on a cloudy day.

The windmill shots are very impressive.

Hey Sue, glad to see you are still at it. Things have been crazy here, but hopefully they will settle down soon. Picked up a new canon 5d, so I am getting back in shooting mode. Heading to India in a couple of weeks, so I should have some fun with the camera!.

The wonderfully whimsical face bowls..followed by magnificent, elegant windmills (remind me of giraffs on the plains for some reason). What a treat!

I love your functioning windmill, too! I took pictures of several like that in Utah when we visited a couple of years ago. Just lovely. There's something so peaceful about them.

And the wisteria sky! Perfect! :)

Hey Sue, thanks for the note. Things were going well in Baltimore when AOL decided they needed to ask 1/3 of the work force if they would leave....EA reached out to me that same week and asked me to come to TX....so we are not Texans :)

I laughed at the mugs and loved the rest of the photos. We have wonderful sunrises and sunsets in my neck of the woods. Sometimes brilliantly colorful and often soft pastels. This morning was a pastel lit rise. Can't wait to see what the sunset brings.
