I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West. Come and enjoy with me.

In the 8th grade our class took a field trip to Sutter's Fort. It was an experience I will always remember.
I took my daughters to Sutter's Fort many years ago (it seems!). Very cool photo, Sue!
Happy weekend to you, too!
I love the colours in this, Sue. And textures. Just so appealing to the eye.
I like old wagons, but everytime I see one I am so glad i live in the age of cars and not wagons. i can't imagine how those women rode and walked beside wagons all the way accross the US of A.
Sue thanks for your kind words over the blog years :)
An interesting historic photo Sue. - Dave
You know, I've never been to Sutter's Mill -- I should... I also want to get to that big mine they have up in the Sierra foothills. One of these days...
