A tiny bit of sparkle on a very dull and wet day.

I always love the color of everything because the gray sky makes everything seem so vibrant. :)

Wonderful photo Sue! I enlarged it and it really looks great with the pink stems and the water droplets all over. Well done! - Dave

Small things bring out sparkles of a dull day. Beautiful picture and observation.

Your photography never fails to blow me away. I've been relatively absent from all blogs of late - life's just been getting in the way - but one return visit returns me to the same awestruck place I was when I was last here.

You really ought to teach composition somewhere.

Sue, It looks like the water droplets found a home on your beautifully red nandina. When I enlarged the most prominent drop, I could almost see you reflected in it!

Your stunning photo with complementary colors and that drop of life shows how beautiful even rainy days are.

I'm so happy to hear that you have found out about many of your Haitian friends surviving, and how your residence there is a shelter. Little by little, they will rise from the ashes.

Hi, we are in the south west desert here, been to Death valley and now in Arizona. We were in Tucson for the day of all that rain which was preceded by a dust storm. we sat it out a whole day in our motorhome in a truckstop, at least we had internet from the truckstop. As we started moving again, we are seeing places where the water had been across the road.
You would never beleive how low the snow is on the mountains around Tucson.
