At last we have some blue skies with some rain clouds thrown in for good measure.
I'm afraid this weekend will be more rain than blue skies.

This is a gorgeous sky and a great photograph, with all the contrast between light and dark.
it is not often we see the bright and the dark together like this. It is beautiful, strong and bright and darkness all together. love it.
Rain is better than the snow swirling around the Southwest today. The contrasting colours make a very fine photo.

we had pouring rain and mild temps last week, and now this weekend we are experiencing arctic temperatures... -16C last night.
Yes, Sue, sadly more rain is definitely on the horizon. I'm further north and ironically I think you've had more than we ever thought about this season! Shasta Lake is way up though, so I guess we just need to be thankful for what we've gained and will gain before the dry season hits!
