ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " S "

Its ABC Wednesday again and we are at the letter " S ". This photo stands for "Strangers no more".
Yesterday I had the special opportunity to meet, for the very first time, a long time blogging friend. She is Kekiinani of Renee's Almost a Photo a Day blog. She has her home on the island of Oahau. What a wonderful time we had eating lunch and gabbing as long lost friends. We are definitely Strangers no more.

How's this for a super giant snail? The not so slimey snail was part of a floral display at the California State Fair.

I saw my shadow while taking a shot of the splash of colors in the fallen leaves.
To see what others have selected for the letter S, go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
As always enlarging each picture will show more detail.

For a moment I thought the snail was alive! It looks like one of those 60's horror movies: Attack of the Giant Snail...

How fun to meet a blogging friend! I've been able to meet a few in the last six months, and it is indeed as if you're meeting someone you've known for a long time.

Now that's a cute snail!

How super you met Renee - I've been quietly following her blog for a long time - most of the people I meet haven't clue about blogging so good to meet someone who understands.

I thought at first it was one of those giant african snails until I read the words. Lovely leaves in the low sun.

Skirt and snail are so witty,
but those leaves make me want to walk through them and kick up a few, so very colorful are they!

Happy Thanksgiving,
thank you for being such a great friend,
my heart jumps a little every time I find your comments!

So glad you were able to get together with Renee. Meeting up with fellow bloggers certainly is not the same as meeting strangers.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
