ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " K "
What else could I do this time around for ABC Wednesday Letter " K " but Kenya?
Its still so fresh on my mind. First its the Kids of Kenya. The Kids were always Keeping an eye out for us and wanting our full attention.
Kenya is very diverse and the landscape is eerily beautiful. The mountains in the distance are at least 8000 feet in altitude.
The semi-arid valley is almost 6000 feet. It kind of made us puff and pant a bit.
Some of the typical open air markets in the surrounding small villages of Kenya.
As in many places in our world, its survival of the fittest. I think perhaps this was a goat that served as dinner for the not so kindly hyeneas.
Please enlarge to see more detail.
Thanks for all your well wishes. Its taken 7 full days to feel like I am back among the living. Don't get the Flu...its awful.

When were you in Kenya? Wonderful, wonderful photos! Happy you are feeling better and thanks for your comment on my "k" post - this ABC Wednesday habit is good for self-discipline of which I don't have much!
Wonderful photos, especially the first one of the children. I couldn't help but notice the little boy with the Chicago sweatshirt:)
Glad to know you are starting to feel better. I haven't had the flu in quite a few years, but it is indeed miserable. Thanks for reminding me I'd better get with it and get my flu shot!
Glad you are feeling better. It must have been horrible...Kenya has a lot of appeal.
Kenya is perfect for K, and our photos are great. Sorry you were ill, but glad you're feeling better now.

I am glad you are feeling better now! I hope you won't get the swineflu now. Well it seems to be like an ordinary flu, I was told.
Kenya must be an interesting country!
Glad you're well.
Kenya has long fascinated me. In think of it as a former British colony and forget about the German colonization in the region.
Great post! Wow. Kenya is not the typical experience for most of us within our lifetime. Gives one a different perspective about how we live.
wonderful K post. I loved enlarging the first one, the children are so adorable.
Glad you are feeling better.
Glad you are on the road to recovery. As usual the Kenyan pictures are wonderful.
I am pleased that you have made it safely back to blogland, and that you are feeling yourself again. Great pics of Kenya. The kids look like they were lots of fun. Two of my cousins were born in Nairobi, back in the 1930s.
I love seeing your photos again. I assume you are feeling better now...hope so anyway.
Great photos of Kenya! I enjoy seeing it through your lens.
Poor goat. But as you say, survival of the fittest, and it must be a harsh country at times, for some.
Good K!
I am glad you are feeling better.
