TULIP TEXTURES
I just love the color and texture of this beautiful Tulip. To see what others have posted for Carmi's theme of Flowers just click on his name on my sidebar.
That is Princess Irene, isn't it? I just bought some of those, partly because they are so beautiful, and partly to commemorate my lovely Renie, who we called The Princess.
I have literally just put a blog up about that. What a coincidence! :)
Thanks for keeping tabs on me, Sue.....I have been good and almost settled in now......starting to visit blogs now......expect a flurry of comments: i have tons to catch up on...hope you have been the greatest, as always :)
Yes, Sue, this is one of those nature art pieces and your photos shows it brilliantly! Thank you for your wishes, we will fly on Wednesday. I could be happy to get you with us there. We wil be 4 days in Beijing, 2 in Xian,2 in Guilin,2 in Hangzhou and the last four days in Shanghai. I got a flu just now, but hopefully it will not trouble too much during a journey.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

Yes, it looks beautiful! My tulips are now starting to bloom, you made me want to look at them more closely...
Just beautiful!
Beautiful photo!!
Color is gorgeous, the center shot looks like a vortex swirling....
très poétique, on a envie de la caresser, superbe
very poetic, it was the desire to caress, superb
It really is beautiful this tulip and its color. I too like the texture on its silky petals.
Splendid. This is one of my favorite colors of tulips, there is an iridescence that is amazing - salmon and lavender!

wow -- it looks like it is fluid!
The color swirl reminds me of those iridescent fingernail polishes I wore when I was a kid.
Yep, you got an incredible texture on that tulip... Ten points and a gold star -- my highest award!
Beautiful :) I agree with you on the colour and texture.

Absolutely stunning.... what delicate colors.
This is just beautiful. The textures are so wonderful and the colors are fantastic.
Tulips are some of my favourite flowers - so pretty and graceful.
Very nice, I'm sure this would look good in Black and White too!
