'MATERS ARE ROUND - CARMI'S THEME
Another entry for Carmi's Theme...ROUND..... To see what others have chosen go to Carmi's link on my sidebar.
They look so yummy.... now let's put some slices together with some whole wheat toast and some crispy bacon, and a little scrape of mayo.... a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper..... mmmmm.
I like them in fall, winter and spring. But summer is when they do their best shining :)! You have me looking forward to summer already with this tasty post!
Do you remember my story about the little boy, who when we were checking a phonics paper on the sound of the letter "t," one little boy raised his hand and said, "Mrs. Whitcmb, 'mater don't start with no "t." And I guess it doesn't, does it.
Tomatoes are my all-time favorite vegetable because their shape and texture promises a delightful eating experience. I know it sounds weird, but I can't look at a tomato and NOT smile.
And so I smile as I look at this photo. Beautifully shot.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

I have a few plants sitting under a plastic "tent" to protect them from the cold wind.
There is a song and some of the words are as follows:
There's only two things that money can't buy -- and that's true love, and home grown tomaters" hee hee
You've got me thinking.. salsa!

So what are you going to make with all those tomatoes? :D
