FORESTHILL BRIDGE
I took this shot of the Foresthill Bridge a few months ago. We parked on one end and walked the whole length. The Foresthill Bridge is California's highest bridge at 730 feet. It traverses the North Fork of the American River.
I'll bet it was a wonderful walk! I'm not great with heights so I don't know how I'd feel about it in person. But from YOUR camera's eye, everything is beautiful.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

There is so much history in this image. Good sepia toning there too
Nice photo...
Neat shot! I think I would be scared to look over the side.
You asked about the blossom I posted....I believe the tree is a Maple...but I'm not sure what type.

The color is like in Steven Spielberg's first movie about the truck!..special mood
How would you like to bungy jump from that.
I will put that on my list of things to visit.
Looks like a great walk! I like being up high as long as my feet are on solid ground.
I can "see" that this is only a short stretch of the bridge. Still, it seems to stretch into infinity. Very clever shot! :-)
What a great walk that would be.
Nice shot.
Nice!
even I wonder what colour shows the forest over there!
Is this a pedestrian only bridge or car & pedestrian bridge? I should look out for it the next time I'm in the area.
