BETWEEN STORMS
Yesterday I went out in our backyard between rainstorms to take a few pictures.
There were lots of new buds on the trees and some great water drops. This drip was coming off a bit of sap on the branch.
I was fascinated by the tree reflection in the drop.
As always enlarging the picture will show the detail more clearly.

Bravo Sue! The photo of the water drop showing the tree is wonderful! - Dave
superbe macro, cette goutte d'eau gelée.
superb macro, this drop of water ice.
excellent work here. well done
That is really an unusual image. I like it lots!!! At first glance I thought it was ice on your trees. I thought oh my gosh the snow level is really low!!! :) :) Nice capture.
Ah, a tree grows in a raindrop. Why not?
WOW, just lovely. The reflection is perfect.

Beautiful. I thought it was ice at first.
What a wonderful reflection. How amazing.
As usual, your spring arrives a while before us in the frozen north. This seems to have been a long winter, most of my posts of late seem to have snow involved
Well done to find and capture this image. Glad the rain has stopped for now after 24 hours of nonstop downpour. Buds are showing on one of my trees too. Spring is just a short distance away.
wow, it really is a nice shot, very well done.
That is a super super picture! How nice to see some green garss in the background.
i guess the weather's finally cooperating, hmmmm ??
beautiful shot, Sue.
You inspire me Sue.. guess I need to get that new camera out :)
It's very nice, Sue.
Actually you are seeing the tree brunch through the water drop. It act like a lens as you see through.
Fantastic capture with unusual shape of rain drop.
That's beautiful!!! Very different to most other 'post-rain' photos...love it!
When the photo is enlarged, it looks like a test-tube with a tiny branch in it. Great photo; fantastic detail!

Wow ... love that shot. Anyway, I got here from Bob's. Hello :)
This photo is just amazing when enlarged!
Wonderful shot, Sue. I captured a similar shot the other day too, but yours is most impressive. That tree looks like a tiny crack down the drop. I hope folks clicked for a better look :)
This is so beautiful!! I'm a sucker for photos of reflections anyway, but in this tiny raindrop it is especially stunning.
It's a great picture - I also like noticing these little details, though I'm not sure I would have noticed the image of the tree in the small drop!.
Magical shot!
