ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " U "
Wagons Ho for the U.S. mail. This old stagecoach used to haul the United States mail to all the local towns of the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Remember to join the others posting their choices for the letter U. Some may be unusual or utterly rediculous or maybe unidentifiable but ultimately they are wonderful. Its up to you. (:0)

old things have always their beauty
I like to see old wagons, cars or even houses. Good pics - unusual angles. - Dave
The U was difficult, but you nailed it:)
What a marvellous bit of history. I've always loved stagecoaches!
Lovely old coach! Interesting to see how mail was delivered in the old days. Thank you for this piece of history.
Great choice for U, Photo. It's mind boggling when you think of all that's happened in the last hundred years or so!
Maybe we should send them an E-mail about this post? ;-)
Great nostalgia. It is so amazing how far we have come.
I wonder how long it took to get a letter across the United Stated in that mail wagon.
That is such a neat post for the letter U. Love it.
I am happy for all of your family members! ½ year is a long time without seeing each other.
I wish you enjoyable time together,
blogging can come after that :)
Wonderful shots and a thoughtful reminder of how it all began!
