GROUNDED # 2 CARMI'S THEME
Here is my second post for Carmi's weekly theme. This week is GROUNDED and anyway we want to define it.
I would say that this old telephone pole is definitely grounded. Its not going anywhere or going to be useful at all.
Go to Carmi's link on my sidebar to see others in this challenge.

Definitively an excellent catch for the theme!
My grandchildren are coming in next weekend for a week. Now we have to take away all fallen leaves in our backyard, it`s a big job!
Have a pleasant weekend, Sue!
A rather rustic, or should we say rusty scene? - Dave
That is a great find. Fitting to the theme.
Poor old telephone pole.
Just left there to rust and die.
Great shot by the way.
Bear((( )))
Definitely grounded... but not totally useless, it can now be a home for barnacles and algae, and a place for fish to hide.
Definitely a good take on the theme. I hadn't considered the angle of "run aground"... Nice one!
And yeah... I'd say that pole has definitely outlived its usefulness.
Thats quite a fat telephone pole. A great take on the theme.
i love shots like this
Definitely grounded, as others have said. :) I wonder what are those metal spikes, the rungs for climbing it?
Definitely grounded!
Amazing how this old pole became a work of art after serving its useful life. Good catch!
I am feeling somewhat grounded right now :)
Those things sticking out of the pole look dangerous.
Grounded for sure! Great take on the theme.
Got a chuckle that you mentioned you were computer illiterate, but how many blogs do you have? I cant imagine even keeping up with more than one!

Ah, but it is useful captured in the eyes of an artist!
Sue, thank you for the post to my blog. I was still revising when you commented, and am a bit embarrassed at all the errors that were still present. (As you know a toddler is often on my lap when I work!)
But, truly, your comment was very generous and deeply appreciated! Thank you.
Looks like this old pole probably started off as a hefty telephone pole, then got made into a dock or something... --Looks like it's job now is to take the path of least resistance...
the theme looks more interesting from your perspective :)
I really like how you play with each theme and take 'em further than the literal.
You've got my brain churning on this one: we so often don't give a second thought to what happens to technology when its useful life has ended. I guess it all gets grounded to a certain extent.
Definitely a scene that moves.
