The Empire Mine near Grass Valley California had many pieces of vintage equipment and buildings to house them. I was fascinated by the patterns on this one.
Have a great weekend everyone.
I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West. Come and enjoy with me.

Very interesting! Like bricks were on the roof. But what about the sides? Hmmm!
fantastic! This reminded me of an article I read recently about a couple who screen printed some fantastic large designs.
Now that is neat looking.
Bear((( )))
Good capture with this shot. I like the look of the building. Seems planned, yet aged. Cool shot.
I love this picture! Very cool! Thanks for sharing so many fascinating pictures!
I love pattern and old industrial sites. Is that rust or someone decided to do an interesting paint job?
Yes, it is very interesting. I wonder, what makes that pattern of rust,
Now, if I am honest, I don`t know, what to say about those walls with patterns :)
But it is worth photographing, I am sure.
Have a happy weekend, Sue!
I see why you liked this. Very nice.
That almost looks like print for a quilt.
Nice....
Yes, unusual Sue. Wonder if the marks are corrosion of some sort? Interesting shot. - Dave
Wow...this is AWESOME! almost looks like a painting!!
Well, I've heard a lot of people talk about the Empire Mine, but I still have not been there...
And that is really an unusual photo...
The rust almost looks like faded big block letters...
It is funny how the building rusted in such a way.
Makes for a very intesting pattern.
Great find!
I like a lot the subtl range of tones of this roof and wall!
I like the look of it, too. :)
I love the old patina of the siding on this interesting building.
its really interesting. Hard to decide if its a design or its like this because its abandoned.
Love this - the colours and the pattern are super!!!
Kind of looks like some old car hoods I have seen :)
My kind of photo! I like the textures and colors.
I like this a lot. I love interesting buildings.
