I'VE GOT SPURS THAT JINGLE JANGLE JINGLE
For some reason this photo intrigues me. I love the spurs and fringe and even the wrinkles in the cowboy's overcoat. Remember to enlarge to get more detail.
Was he/she otherwise fully dressed? It is an unusual picture. I seldom see this getup outside of rodeos.
ALso, I don't know if you are interested or not or if you have ever seen a Pileated Woodpecker, but I posted one on My Birds Blog this morning. It is our largest woodpecker and this is the first one I have seen here in 46 years.
It reminds me of a small themed tourist attraction called "Wild West City" somewhere in Northwest NJ that I went to as a kid. I don't know if the place still exists. Hmmm...I wonder.
Nice picture. I'm sure it was pretty darn hot that day.... I have leathers of my own, with nice thick black fringe ... sigh. I gave my Harley to my son this past weekend...(his 30th bierthday is next April) so I doubt I will be wearing them any time soon. boo hoo. LOL TOM!
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

When I was a kid I had a pair of play spurs and used them on my bike, but they got caught in the spokes, turning my bike into a bucking bronco.
I love this picture! Great textures! I also love your little quote! You make my day!
That's a fine shot. Did you decide to photograph it on the spur of the moment? ;)
Wow! So clean yet such an unpractical design! Very authentic.

Oh I'd love to see the whole people, but I do love this focus on their very interesting feet.
Okay, now you've done it. I can't get that song out of my head. Those boots always look so uncomfortable.
well heeled, she/he is ;DDD

Oh, I love this!
Yup, the textures really make this photo unusual. I, too, like the wrinkles on the boots.
In the enlarged one, you can see what look like little bells on the spurs on the left. Interesting.
