PROJECT BLACK TAKE 3
One of animations best known characters that began as a black and white mouse. I thought he was a perfect black posting for the weekend. Have a great weekend. Check out Anna's Post of the Day in my sidebar for others participating in Project Black.
Another great shot, good old mickey mouse!! thanks for the info on police cars, i hope you don't see those flashing red lights behind too often!! look forward to your next black. :0)
Yep, that is definitely my favoritie mouse. When I was a kid I had a dog we named Mickey after that famous mouse, and now I have a black and white cat, but I just call her Kitty...
Nice job on framing up the composition on that shot.
And glad the smoke is thinning a bit in your area -- we had the same thing the last couple weeks of June, but the past two weeks haven't been too bad -- at least we've been able to see quite a bit of blue... Horrible fires and people have lost homes, so I guess I shouldn't complain about minor atmospheric conditions. I have a buddy who has a mother in Paradise -- that fire took a turn for the worse on Tuesday... And of course Big Sur is heavily damaged now and that one is still raging in the steep back-country. 92,000 acres now, I think they were saying a day or two ago with less than 50% containment. (oh, I'm sure you keep up on the news too, but just thought I would mention it)
I had a Mickey post in the planning and yours is the second I've seen today! I'll put mine towards the end. This is a very well composed shot! Actually I love it.
It is a great posting. You didn't even have to identify it. I suspect that most people could identify this with just seeing about 1/10 of Mickey's face.
Guess, what! I have on a new Mickey T-shirt brought from Disneyland of Paris :) It`s black and white too. My son and daughter were with their families in Paris. I have been thinking a new project "Water", what ever is related to water.
I have to go again, we got our daughter`s family to the summer cottage and now the weather and water is at last warm enough to swim as long as you want.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

Another great subject! Well done...
Indeed, he is perfect! Fabulous shot, too!
All of your pictures on black & white are quite creative! The CHP makes me cringe and look in my mirror though...
That's a fun one, it took me a second to recognize it without reading your text...loved the graphic quality.

You have had a fine and humorous ida in choosing this kind guy.
Excellent. I love the abstract quality to this.

Can't do much better than Mickey! Good one...and thanks for stopping by Spatter.
I love how you chose only a portion of his oh-so-recognizable face. Good job!
They are all wonderful...really like the cow...
Sorry I've been away from your post for a while...so busy with the grandkids while my daughter was sick.
Yes, this is a perfect choice!
