PROUD GRANDMA
We had the opportunity to attend our Granddaughters "Peace" program at her school.
All the 2nd graders made tye-dyed t shirts and sang 8 numbers by heart and gave many speaches about what peace means to them and what their wishes for peace are.
It was a touching, colorful and fun program to watch. During different numbers various symbols were held high for all to see, such as the globe and peace dove. They all sang their hearts out. It made my day.
Enlarging the picture will show the colors more clearly.

I bet it was wonderful! :)
it is wonderful that the children get to do such inspiring things. and great that you could attend too!
That looked like fun. I still remember singing B-I-N-G-O in my 2nd grade class in front of all the parents on stage. Hope it will be as memorable for your granddaughters.
There is nothing as wonderful as being a grandma. I'm so happy for you.
Heart warming! :-)
I am in awe of the crispness of your close-ups in the previous posts. You sure are the master of your lens!
Cute kids...
I can remember being that age and singing my lungs out in several grand performances. Always great fun for the kids as well...
