SIGNS OF SPRING
I wasn't able to get out and take any new pictures this weekend, but I did take a few shots of our flowering Almond tree. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Remember to enlarge the picture to see the beautiful detail of the blossoms.
Your almond tree bloom bring back lots of memories. Of the time we had one and something happened that it died. Almonds here don't grow so well. Maybe our crazy weather. This bloom looks very nice to me.
I always enjoy seeing what you have done over hear and catching up with uyour picts. The problem is I can never choose a favorite to comment on. Once again your eye for color, lines and potential captured beauty is pleasing to behold! Almond trees. Who knew the blossoms were so attractive?!
Sue, it's fun to be online at the same time. I enjoy looking at both the delicate petals and the buds that hold so much promise.
Thanks for visiting my blog while I was offline; I appreciate it! Did you see the blog of my "dream house" with the view? A perfect spot for a blogger reunion---don't I wish!!
Thank you so much again for your nice comments on my site, Sue! I have seen flowering almond trees in Greece many years ago, it was March. Beautiful trees as also your photo.
There must be some reason that I live in cold snowy icy Canada, but I can't think what it is when I hear words like "flowering almond tree" and "blossoms". Lovely picture, Spring is definitely on the way to California, unfortunately we in the Great White North will have to wait a bit longer.
I wanted to thank you for your comment on Wanda' World ~~ A New Path of Ministry ~~ I really appreciate your words of wisdom and insight ~~ I'm excited about the move the closer it gets!!
Sometimes the most wonderful photos are nearby, aren't they, Sue. This is an example of that. Like Wanda, I appreciate the fuzzy buds on this almond tree.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

Those buds are glorious. I've yet to see/smell an almond tree in person. Must be gorgeous. As Abraham says, they don't grow in the Midwest.
