BLACK AND WHITE CHANGE OF PACE

John of My Viewfinder suggested I post the fire escape in black and white. I also added film grain to the shot. I like the gritty effect.
Don't forget to enlarge the picture for the detail.

How interesting...the black and white with the gritty effect does give it a little vintage feel.... very nice shot

I think it's much better for this particular image. Great job for conversion and film grain is very nice touch.
I like this one better, Sue.

A graphic image. The B&W gives it an old mood!

I think black and white is the perfect choice for this.

I like this one a LOT!

Well done! I think this photo is much stronger in B&W. Too many people are afraid of grain. Sometimes it's plus, not a negative.

Nice shot. Makes me think of that book, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn."

Good job, and with the window air conditioners, it does have the feel of an old photograph.
