I am so excited to see more new flowers in my garden. The Camelias are blooming all over the place. There are four large bushes with a gazillion buds just ready to burst. Doesn't seem like Fall does it?

During World War II a lot of kids ate something for breakfast and one of the more important meals they could fix themselves was coffee soup.
Regular boiled coffee or perked coffee poured in a large cup. Into which you crumble-up a handfull of "soda crackers" (important to get this kind as all the others have salt and salt makes coffee super bitter). Most kids had poured in some real cream as milk used to always have cream on top (It was before milk was homogenized or pasturized). This then made a thick mixture of coffee, cream, sugar and soda crackers. I actually enjoyed it as did most kids but my mom almost always fixed my breakfast for me and it was usually eggs and bacon and toast. The toast was bread put on a fork and held over the cookstone flame until it was brown or burned black. Scrape off the burn with a knife and spread on real butter.

Coloured leaves, flowers, insects and so on. You have colourful surroundings. It's a very nice season for photograph - well, may be any season in different way, but I like autumn. Thanks for showing those colours.

those are lovely! you'd think it was spring! :) the frost killed all my remaining flowers last week. but i was glad, b/c i was tired of watering them all. :) i was ready for fall!

When I looked at the photo as big, they were like alive flowers, amazing. We try to grown Camelias in side in pots, but they are very demanding and very often buds fall before they are open.

To answer your question, Sam is on staff with a YWAM base in WI. Tim is looking to do a masters commission with the AG church to become a youth pastor, and my oldest daughter Rose is looking to do a DTS with YWAM in 1 ½ years. Not sure about the other three yet.
