"K" IS FOR KINFOLK
Its ABC Wednesday again and the letter is "K". These two sweet girls are my kinfolk, my granddaughters. This photo was taken a few years ago but thought it would be perfect for ABC Wednesday.
Check out Mr. Mapper and his letter "K".

Aren't they lovely? They are really unusual rocks in front of them!
Interesting angle ... and it works!
Very nice photo and those rocks infront of the little girls are very impresive.
So sweet... did they make the stone towers? My kids love doing that sort of thing.
Are those natural rock formations in front of them???? ;-)
les sculptures en pierre sont tres belles. tres bon choix pour l'abécédaire
the stone sculptures are very beautiful. very good choice for the alphabetical one
their hair is shining in that nice weather..very nice picture:)
Great K post - how content they look sitting there!
sweet....they have such beautiful golden hair ....and i was wondering about the rock formations too...
looks like the 'redmop' got passed along.... :)
Hi Very nice view , did your granddaughters build those stones on top?
Yes I will chck out the mapper too:)
Beautiful children and what gorgeous red hair.
The ABC project is fun to watch. You're doing great so far.
Nice picture. Wish I was there.
awww, they remind me of the girls when they were little.
Are those rock totems really balanced? It doesn't seem possible!
great capture!
Beautiful granddaughters and not possible stone totem :)
Great picture in many ways!
I love the contrast of the orange hair of the two stars and the dark blue of the sea.....copper orange or kipper orange would you say?
LOL!
Dx
I love your "k" word.
I think last couple of your colour image has little bit over sharpening or may be because the JPEG compression. However, this one is very goo din that department (I did compare them in large version).
How's those rocks stacking like that?
Oh yes the innocence of chidren, but they are grown up now no doubt, like most kids they love the sea
Fine aidea!
I love your sense of composition. I enjoyed the tahoe pictures, too.
They seem to be enjoying the scenery as much as grandma!
Beautiful shot!
A unique scene and picture for your granddaughters to treasure in their beautiful lives.
Hi Sue, your K photo made me smile. Your kinfolk are my kind of folk.
I hope you'll just consider me a week early with my Lambeau Field posting today. I'm out of the loop when it comes to posting the ABC's.
It's like a three layer photo, the girls, the rocks, and the water. Three points of interest to look at in one photo. Nicely done.
I love this photo! :)
I never failed to be amazed by people's choices in these letters, I guess somehow they actually represent our personality a little bit don't you think? Kinsfolk is a great photo. :)
I just started joining in with ABC Wednesday and have added you to my ABC blogroll
Unique rocks...even if they were placed by a human!!!! how long did they stay that way?
Now that is pretty wild.
Love this shot.
It's a lovely picture. For some strange reason I've always liked pictures where people have their back to you.
I love those red heads! We had a rock stacker in Port Angeles for awhile...have not heard or seen about him/her lately.
Wow, your grandaughters are really good at levatating rocks! I'd love to learn that ;)
That's what it looked like at my first glance of the big version.
