BLACK AND WHITE LAKE

Here is another view of Emerald Bay and the teahouse island from Eagle Falls. I especially like the sunlight on the tree trunks.
Check out http://2cjohn.blogspot.com/ my viewfinder. I was so pleasently surprised this morning when I went to John's blog site. He gave me the honor of tweeking my shot of Lone Pine. I have to agree that it looks like it was fashioned after Ansel Adams. Take a look...

Sunlight reminds us of the moment while we peek through to the future.

Very nice, wild and wonderful.
Reminds me of camping in Colorado.

Like the black and white here. Lake Tahoe is full of photo-ops. Really like the Lone Pine shot too.

How could anyone get too many pics of Tahoe?? They're all just wonderful. I like that you did this one in b&w.

As Ruth said, you could never take too many photos of this fascinating lake and its environs. I too like the patterns of light on the trees.

A truly beautiful picture, proving that black and white really is the best there is! Thanks so much for coming back to Toruń DP and for the nice comments about the 2 Presidents! Hope to see you again sometime soon!

I love your shots! And please don't think you are boring us with the Lake Tahoe series. This is probably the only chance I'll get to "visit" Lake Tahoe - so keep them coming.

Very nice photo and I too like the sunlight on the tree trunks.
I too visited John’s blog to see what he had done. Of course that you were pleasantly surprised both with your photo which he modified in B&W and with his nice words full of praise for you.

This is another beautiful B&W photograph, I love them. And yet, don't ask me why, but I prefer the pine tree pic in colour, although it was interesting to see the other version.

Love this in black and white. John's version of Lone Pine looks pretty good doesn't it?

I'm late to the game here, but I'm loving this one too. It does have that huge range of gray tones from absolute white to absolute black that takes black and white shots to the next level.
