APPLE TIME
What's a trip to Apple Hill without apple-everything? No matter where we turned there were boxes of every kind of apples imaginable. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and be sure to click on the photo to enlarge it.
Appel wine time! Do you know that Appel wine is the regional beverage of Frankfurt? But don´t confuse it with cider! :-) Have a nice weekend!!! Saludos Ratze
I love apples and this photo is beautiful. I can see one wormy apple on the photo. That is great for it is clear that those apples are good for eating. Worms don’t like all sorts of things. :-) Those water drops give to the image even more charm. Have a nice weekend!
It's apple time in New York, too, and since we aren't too far from an agriculture experimental center (Cornell University), our farmers often bring very unusual varieties to the greenmarket. Sadly, the stuff at the farmer's market is fairly expensive, but if I buy a bag of slightly bruised apples, I get plenty to eat and have enough left to make a nice pot of applesauce.
I love your photos. You have the eye of an artist, and the talent to show it :)! I also enjoyed your previouis post. It was fun to learn about the person behind these beautiful pictures!
One of those apples has a wormhole in it!! I love anything with apples... apple pie, apple crisp, apple cheesecake, baked apples..... lovely. BTW I posted pics of The Wedding, perhaps I will post some more tomorrow. We had such a great time, I'm exhausted!
Your apple picture reminds me, i need to pick my Red Delicious apples, I have three trees just loaded and they are falling off, a good wind would put them all on the ground. First thing in the morning, now where are those boxes?
I just read Barkfoots comment about "scrumping"... Scrumping in England was a pastime for kids stealing apples from a neighbours tree. Where I came from in England, all apple trees were behing an eight foot fence, if the owner wanted to keep his apples that is. We lived in a quality neighbourhood.
I LOVE Apple Hill. Went for the first time last year, and although I thought the crowds were unbelieveable, so were the farms, wines, apples, food, crafts... the fun of it all :) I want to go again in the next week or so - if I can find a time other than on the weekend. What a lovely apple picture. You are good with the camera. Oh, and thanks for visiting my blog with a comment.

Wow, slice some up in a skillet with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. I need a bib to catch my drool.
