HUNGRY THE LETTER "H"
I know this isn't quite ABC Wednesday but I will be out of town for the rest of the week.
Wednesday is the letter H......it is for Hungry.....
This was taken in Uzbekistan of a lady selling the Staff of Life called Non (bread). Notice what her selling carts are..
Have a wonderful week and I will see you again probably Saturday.

the carts..haha!!!
and thanx for showing an elusive part of the world, I may or may not get a chance to see myself!!!
you too have a great week, Sue!!
Very interesting bit of social interaction. Have a great week: take lots of photos!!
Photographie pour un reportage intéressant.
Photographs for an interesting report.
I love your photo. Were you there?
I have seen similar sad scenes in the Ukraine. Very old people travelling with 2-3 small chests of raspberry from the countryside into Kiew, to sell them at Tolstoy metro station. Or little bunches of violets. Heartbreaking.
A unique street scene, that's for certain. I hope you have a good week.
I like what you capture in people's everyday lives. I bet the bread was really tasty!
He,he... I first thought he was feeding the baby ! ;-)
have a good trip!
Bet there is a baby in there munching on the food, good shot of the natives of Hungary, makes me feel hungry
Very nice image. Have a great time!
Nothing beats home-made bread!
I could make a good go-kart out of the pram wheels. It's a very interesting photo you've taken there.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog

That bread looks good. Have a great week.
Good post, with a bit of culture thrown in for good measure.
Hope you had a great week.
What's the policeman doing in the background?
Nice one. Clever use of carriages.
I like the updated blog. I've been out of touch for a few days so I'm catching up a bit.
i was thinking what a strange thing to see on the side of the street until you told us the location.... very interesting.
hope you have fun on your trip.....
Very emotive photo. It does give you a pang of guilt about how easy we come by food.
Hope you enjoy your break!
A different view of the world. I like the shot. Hope you enjoy your time away.
Oh, the baby carriage . . . a wonderful photo that reminds us to eat well and to share our food with others.
What an interesting picture. It reminds me of the lady that used to come around selling homemade tamales. Only she didn't have baby buggies to use.
Sue,
Quite a different world from mine. Thanks for sharing and have a great week where ever you are!
Paula
I wonder what the officer is doing in the rear right of the photo.
Perhaps one of the baby carriages just might have a baby in it. I would say the policeman is waiting his turn to buy some bread, or it could be her husband or even her son. Then again maybe he's guarding her so no one steals the bread (the kind you eat or spend).
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I missed this last week............grat post & picture!
This is a great photograph - it tells so much.
