THE CLOUDS EYE VIEW
This past week we were in Las Vegas, Nevada. I took a few pictures from the airplane as we flew over the High Sierra Mountains. It was good to get away and just have a bit of time to ourselves. I will be sharing several pictures over the next few days of the trip.
Several of you had questions about my last post . Yes I traveled to the country of Ubekistan last year. I was there for 2 weeks. It is a fascinating, very closed country. Even though it is no longer a police state, there is a heavy police presence in the large cities. The bread or Non as it is called, was some of the best I ever had. Everyone buys it fresh each day and its gone by evening.
Thanks for all of your nice comments on my blog and I will get to yours by Monday. Unfortunately tomorrow we have to attend a Memorial Service for a long time friend. He's had a long struggle with illness and now he doesn't have to struggle anymore. We will miss him and his kind and gentle spirit.

Nice shot from up high ;)
...I appreciate what you said about my "Jaci" pics.
Hi Photowannabe!
How are you? I love the new site look. Hope you're having a great end-of-summer!!
Beautiful wisps of clouds...
Beautiful cloudscape. Am looking forward to more from your trip.
Fantastic picture. It's not an angle you normally get to take of mountains.
I am sorry for the loss of your friend. It truly is true, when people had to suffer a lot, it is a relief to think they don't have to struggle anymore. I went through these stages both with my sister and my father. I am sad they are gone, but happy they are in a better place.
I like the cloud picture.
A friend of mine is in Uzbekistan right now, I am looking forward to listen to her impressions.
Glad you and your hubby got to have some time together. I'll look forward to your photos.
That's one of my favorite things about air travel, looking down on the world below. There are lots of things I don't like about air travel but you reminded me of one thing about it that I really enjoy.
waouh. cette vue est magnifique, une vue de reve
waouh. this sight is splendid, a sight of dream
cool shot
Wonderful photo!
It has been years since I've flown, but I always loved looking out of plane windows.
Nice shot.
sorry about your friend, Sue....
and this is such a lovely pic..will love to see the trip pics . hope you have a great week :)
on my way home from virginia last September, the view out the plane window was breathtaking. I didn't have my camera in hand, and my daughter was trying so hard not to be sick that I didn't dare disturb her.
thanks for stopping by. Ella will be on antibiotics for four weeks...two different kinds.
cool new look,
sorry about your friend! I love looking at clouds! :)
thanks!
Sad to hear about your friend.
Impressive landscape. You feel very small when you look at that.
great photo, sue! very well captured.
sorry to hear about your friend....but glad to know he is no longer suffering.
take care.....
Stunning! I'm glad you had a window seat, otherwise we all would have missed this shot :)
Mountains topped with whipped cream. Lovely.
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of a dear friend. It's good you can find relief in knowing he's no longer suffering. He will never be completely gone, as memories of times spent with him will live on, within your heart and mind.
I'm sorry about your friend, Sue. This shot from the plane is so beautiful, I love looking down at the scene below.

This is pretty. That is quite a sight.
Cool shot!
A few days in Las Vegas would be super... even though I don't gamble... well, maybe $20, but that's IT! Great shot of the clouds.
